Hello! Today I’ll talk about the career that I’m doing. I’m studying psycholgy, since 2013 and I’m in the second year.

I’m in this career because I always liked the human mind, and the reasons of their acts, and also, I always was interested in the psychopathologies. I really enjoy my career, even sometimes It’s a little boring and exhausting.

The psychology can be in almost any area of work. You can do gruop therapies, focus in the comunity, or intervene in schools, helping the kids whit their growth, or also you can work in companies, helping the  workers to have a better environment, you can have personal sessions and help people one by one, you can do investigations, or just, aply the psychology in the area you like ajajaj It’s multifaceted.

The tools that you need to work in psychology, depends on the area wou will be specialised. I don’t know yet in what area I’m going to be, but I like the clinical area, and the lobour area. But in general, you have to reed a lot! So you have to be good in it. Also you will need a lot of empathy, and care about the others. One thing that is really important is the patient, in every work you will need it.

My favorite subject are psychopatologies, and human realations, but I don’t know what I like more. I espect in the future to take different classes, and learn a lot.

I’m going to talk about the 3 Rs. These are:

1. - Reduce

2. - Reuse

3. – Recycle

I didn’t know much about this topic, but I’m not totally ignorant about it. In my house we try to recycle and separate the garbage. We try to unplug every electro-domestic if we are not using it, and turn off the lights if we are not in that room.

I find very interesting this topic, because is a thing that everyone has to know, because is something that affect us all. We have to look after our planet, is the place that we live in! And if we don’t do it, nobody will do it. The big companies cannot ignore this topic, I think that they are the one who can make a really big change, because they contaminate like anybody else, but they are necessary for the life we live, so they just cannot disappear. And that’s why they have to do a big change.

Hi classmates.

Today I’m going to talk about something I like to learn. I always loved music, so I wanted to play the guitar. My parents bought me one, that was very cheap, but I don’t care, because I didn’t know anything about guitars, and they told me that if I can improve, the will buy me another guitar. I didn’t care about that, I just wanted to learn.

In my school, there was a guitar workshop, so I joined it. I was very happy, because finally I would be able to play the guitar. The problem was that there were a lot of little kids, there were yelling all the time! I tolerate it just for 1 month I think, and then I quit :C

I also was in a handball club; it was from the Chile University. I think I was pretty good, but when I joined the club, no one of the children accept me, all of them were very competitive, so I felt very lonely, and I quit, again.

Finally, I joined the chorus in my school. I always loved to sing, and I felt very happy there. Sadly, it last just one year. But later, I took the music elective, and there we were able to do what we wanted, so, some of my classmates played the guitar or the bass or the drums, and I sang. My teacher always put me in the main voice because it was easy for me to catch the tone. And when I was in 3^rd grade in high school, I took singing classes, and finally I learned a lot!

So now, in university, I still took singing classes, to improve myself in something that I really enjoy, and something that I think that I’m good at.

Hello classmates!

Today I’m going to talk about a place that I love. It’s a restaurant called “La Piccola Italia”. I like this place for two reasons: first  because is an Italian restaurant  and second, it’s an special place to my family because we always go there when we want to celebrate something or we just want to enjoy a nice meal.

This restaurant is close to the station “Vicuña Mackena”, in “La Florida”, and it´s close to my home, it take us like 15 minutes to get there.

Like I said before, is an Italian restaurant and it’s just delicious. My favorite meal is the “Tripasta Especial”, it has lasagna, gnocchi and ravioli, ñam ñam J

Actually, I love almost all the Italian restaurants, like other one called “Caprese”. The difference between the restaurant is that “Caprese” is more expensive  so I only go there when is a really really especial occasion. With my boyfriend we celebrate our anniversary there, and I had to save a lot of money, but it totally worth it.

And last but not least, is the restaurant “Ruby Tuesday”, is an American restaurant, but I always eat the Italian food, so I order the “Parmesan Chicken Pasta”. It has grilled chicken, pasta, and a lot of cheese! It’s very delicious!

Now I’m hungry and I want pasta :c

Today I’m going to talk about the differentiation of the personality organization.

I will be based in the Otto Kernberg book named structured interview. And I’ll put focus on the table 1-1 “Differentiation of the personality organization”.

To make this clearer, you need to know that there are three different types of personality structures that Kernberg explain:

1.       Neurotic

2.       Borderline

3.       Psychotic

And also, for distinguish these three structures, there are structural standards:

1.       Integration of the identity

2.       Defensive Operations

3.       Reality test

It’s very difficult to separate those personalities. That’s why Kernberg did those standards. A little explanation is:

1.       How much one person can distinguish themselves from the others, and if the person have clear who is themselves, and who are the others.

2.       How that person defend themselves from the contradictions that can make in the interview with the psychologist

3.       How the person perceive the reality, what sense give it to the reality.

I’m not going to explain this with details, because it’ll take a long time, but that’s the basic and main structure. I choose this topic, because when I read it from university, I found it very interesting. It cost me to understand it, but once I did, I felt very happy (and I had a great mark in the test).

My ambition is to live one year in Spain, so I can obtain a double-nationality. I have relatives that are Spaniard, so I can have the nationality in a short time that other people. I would like to do that, because I want to travel for Europe without any problems, and meet a lot of new places. The only time that I traveled out of Chile was in Argentina, but I want to travel more! And also, in that year, I would have a lot of new experiences (and if it’s possible I would like to do it meanwhile I’m studying). My father always tell us about his ambitions, he wanted to travel, to be more adventurer, and learn other language; and how regret he is for not accomplish that. So I think that I made his ambitions mine.

Finish this target is very important to me, because is a thing that inspire me, and motivates me. Is not only to have de double-nationality, is to have a new view of the world, know different places and cultures, to have a self-development.

Obviously, aside of the spiritual travel, I’ll take a LOT of pictures and eat different kinds of food! :D

Hi! I'm going to talk about something that I really love, music.

I enjoy very much when I'm listening music, because It can express a lot o feelings and things. My favorite music is progressive rock and some metal. But I also listen to other styles; I don't like to be locked up in some styles.

My favorite singer is Roy Khan, he is the ex-vocalist from the power metal band Kamelot. I really admire him, because his voice is beautiful, and he can manage it without problem. I let a video if you want to hear him (:

My favorite band is Porcupine Tree, is a progressive rock band and I really really love them!!! I like them because their music, for me, has no comparison. They are one of the greatest band. Their leader is Steven Wilson, he is the main composer, guitarist and vocalist. Their music can make me feel a lot of things, and the lyrics are amazing. Is hard to explain what I feel of this band, but I hope you can understand it.

Finally I want to talk about a song that I promise myself that one day, I could sing it perfectly. This song brings me a lot of memories, and I get better when I sing it. This song is from the band Anathema and is beautiful, and it can bring you peace, even though the lyrics are sad.

My favourite piece of technology is my computer, I got it for my birthday (i think), about 4 or 5 years ago, I don't remember so well

.

I use it everyday, unless I'm out, or in vacations. For example, when I'm in my boyfriend's house, I can't use it, and I don't use his computer either, because is not the idea to be conected all the time, and if I'm with him, I prefer to take advantage of the time. And when I'm in vacations, there are a lot of thing that one could do, so I can't be in the computer all the time, or I will be wasting my time.

I like this machine, because I can do a lot of things there. I can be on the internet, chat with my friends, search for anything i'm interested to, besides, I can watch series, movies, and animations. Also in the computer, I can play, and install a lot of programs, even you can play games of gameboy or playstation, is great! And last, but not least, it helps me very much with the university, first for the internet, it helps me to search for information, and second, with the program "word", I can write my essays and works.

My life without my computer wouldn't be so terrible, because I think that in the time of my parents, computers weren't common, and they do everything without problems. Obviously, search for information will take more time, but one can be used to it.

Hello my friends! Today I'm going to write about a photo that I really love. This photo was taken in a goodbye party of a friend. It was a surprise party.

I have a friend since 5º grade, and she loved to dance. She was in ballet clases and in the highschool she moved to contemporany dance. And when we graduate from school, she left to Argentina, chasing her dream.

So, we organized this party, with a group of friends, and it was very lovely! We made a barbecue, bought some masks and wigs, balloons, a lot of french fries and peanuts. We made it on a friend`s house and she have a taca-taca, so we played a lot and it was very funny.

The photo was taken at the end of the party. We put the camera in automatic, so everyone can be in the picture. I love this photo because we all look very happy and smiling, it was a beautiful moment.

Hi bloggers! Today I'm going to talk of a place that I really enjoyed visiting.The place name is Santa Cruz, it is in Libertador Bernando O'Higgins region. I go there like every year, because there live my grandfathers, both of my parents are from there too.

Last time I visited Santa Cruz was this holiday, in January, We went with my family to visit my grandmother and uncle, and we stayed there one week. I take most advantage of the time when I am there, because I never see my family in the year.

Santa Cruz is really small, compared to Santiago, but with the time, it has been growing up. Now it has a hotel named "Hotel Santa Cruz" jajaja, and a casino (the "Casino Colchagua"). Because of that, the popularity of it has increased considerably. Also is known for the vineyards that you can found there, and obviously the wine is its bets attribute.

When I was there, I ate a lot of ice cream! Because there is the best bakery ever! Also, I spend a lot of time with my cousin, talking, eating (a lot jajaj), waching animated cartoons, playing PS2 and playing cards in family.

What I like about this place is that is so relaxing, everything is so quiet, and the weater is excellent. It is very hot in summer, but is also windy, so you don't die burn jajaj.

Everyone should visit this beautiful place :D

Hi!My name is Javiera and I'm 20 years old. I'm in the 2nd year of psychology in Universidad de Chile. I love music, movies, animation, italian food and Steven Wilson (best musician ever). I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and when I'm alone, I like to watch series or play PS3.

My hoobies are confectionary and sing. I pretend to do sing classes this year, so I can improve.

My boyfriend also studies psychology, but in another university. He is a bass player and we like the same music, so we love to spend time playing it.

My future plans are to be a great psychologists and make money to travel the world (or most of it), and I like to have a pretty house (with a jacuzzi jajaja).
